What this site is, and what it is not

Austin RoofWorks is an independent directory of roofing and exterior contractors in the Austin metropolitan area, together with a form for requesting quotes. We are not a roofing contractor. We do not inspect, repair, replace or tarp anything, we do not employ crews, and we do not supervise the work.

When you submit the form we pass your request to the roofing contractor we refer you to. Any contract for work is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it.

We do not vouch for any contractor

Texas does not license roofing contractors at state level. Being listed here means a business appears in the Texas Comptroller’s permit file under a roofing, sheet metal or exterior classification — nothing more. It is not an endorsement, a certification, or a statement that the business is competent, insured, or currently trading.

Before anyone works on your roof, ask for a current certificate of insurance and check it. Ask for the written scope and price before work starts. That is your responsibility, not ours.

Prices and data on this site

Figures on this site — permit counts, trading dates, typical costs — come from public records and are given for orientation. They are not quotes and nobody is bound by them. Public records contain errors and go out of date; we correct what we are told about.

What you promise when you submit the form

• The details you give are accurate, and the phone number is yours.
• You own the property or are authorised to arrange work on it.
• Any photograph you send us is yours to share, and you are happy for us to pass it to the contractor so they can quote.
• You are 18 or over.

Liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for the work, conduct, pricing, delay, damage or omissions of any contractor listed or referred, nor for decisions you make based on data shown here. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid us — which, since the site is free to use, is nothing.

Business listings

If you own a business listed here and want the entry corrected or taken down, write to us and it will be done. We do not require a reason and we do not charge for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
